StandardAero Touts Business Aviation Engine MRO Leadership: Experience Leader in TFE731 Engine Maintenance / Expands Service Capabilities on HTF7000

Orlando, Fla. – October 30, 2012 – StandardAero Business Aviation announced that it leads the industry in TFE731 heavy maintenance. The company’s factory-trained, turbine engine specialists recently surpassed 17,000 engine events on the TFE731, performing more Core Zone Inspections (CZI) and Major Periodic Inspections (MPI) than any other maintenance, repair & overhaul (MRO) organization in the world.

To date, the company has completed over 17,000 Core Zone Inspections (CZIs) and Major Periodic Inspections (MPIs), in addition to the fulfillment of thousands of other events.

“There is no substitute for experience,” said Scott Taylor, Senior Vice President, Business Aviation, StandardAero. “We maintain our reputation for quality and are able to complete CZIs and MPIs in turn times of roughly half that of our competition, because we know the engine inside and out. We know what to look for and have institutionalized processes that eliminate non-value-added labor, ultimately reducing costs for the customer by getting them back in the air faster. The result is a happy customer and repeat business.”

In addition, the Company announced that it continues to grow its HTF7000 engine support capability. Under its Honeywell authorized service agreement, StandardAero performs combustor changes, 4000 and 8000 hour borescope inspections along with other activities covered by our Minor Authorization from Honeywell.
