StandardAero to Provide Hot Section Inspections on PW615 Engines – Service Available On-Wing or In-House to Meet Operator Needs

Tempe, Ariz. – October 18, 2013 – StandardAero announced that it has launched dedicated Mobile Repair Teams (MRT) conducting on-wing hot section inspections (HSIs) and repairs for the Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) PW610 and PW615 series engine.

StandardAero is an independent provider of turbofan engine MRO and the world’s only independent P&WC authorized Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) for the support of the PW610F-A and PW615F-A.

StandardAero has on wing HSIs in a range of global locations such as Prague, Czech Republic, Paris, France; Valencia, Spain; New Orleans, LA, Orlando, Fla., Wichita, Kan., as well as at the Knoxville, Tenn. Airport (TYS) near the company’s Maryville, Tenn., overhaul facility. Today’s announcement gives operators the on-wing HSI work they need in the locations they require.
