StandardAero signs GE OnPointSM CF34 Engine MRO Service Agreement for Challenger 601 Operators at NBAA-BACE

Orlando, Fla. – November 2, 2016 – Today, at the annual NBAA-BACE event, executives from StandardAero and General Electric (GE) Aviation signed a long-term partnership agreement to provide Bombardier Challenger 601 On-PointSM program operators with major CF34 hot section and overhaul MRO shop services within North America.

StandardAero and GE’s On-Point agreement supports CF34-1A, -3A, -3A2 and -3A1 engine models with mobile field services for on-wing hot section inspections, engine removal and installation services and shop level MRO. StandardAero and General Electric are proud to offer OnPoint customers the most experienced and responsive mobile repair services in the industry.

This partnership further strengthens the long standing Standard Aero/GE relationship, provides access to a greater market of in-service engines and provides OnPoint operators an even greater flexibility in their maintenance needs. Along with this important partnership, StandardAero is the only independent overhaul level facility in North America dedicated to servicing these operators with OEM approved quality standards, supporting the business aviation community since 2007. Heavy maintenance for CF34 engines is provided at StandardAero’s Winnipeg, Canada facility.
