SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – August 13, 2026 – StandardAero (NYSE: SARO), a leading independent pure-play provider of aerospace engine aftermarket services including engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) and engine component repair, has been selected by leading private Tanzanian airline operator Precision Air to provide MRO services for the Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127M turboprops powering its fleet of nine regional turboprop aircraft comprised of ATR 42-500/600 and ATR 72-500 platforms. This new contract extends Precision Air’s long-standing partnership with StandardAero.
Under this exclusive, multi-year contract, StandardAero – the world’s largest independent Pratt & Whitney Canada authorized PW100 Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) – will provide Precision Air with a range of PW127M MRO services from its overhaul locations in Summerside, Canada and Gonesse, France, supported by its service center location in Nairobi, Kenya. StandardAero has been serving the PW100 operator community for more than 40 years, having been appointed as the first independent MRO provider for the engine in 1984.

This coordinated approach reinforces best practices, improves maintenance proficiency, and enhances overall safety culture.”
