StandardAero Signs Exclusive, Five-Year MRO Agreement to Service RE200 APUs for Air Nostrum’s Fleet of CRJ900/1000 Regional Aircraft

Scottsdale, Ariz. – September 3, 2015 – StandardAero signed an exclusive, five-year agreement with Air Nostrum Líneas Aéreas del Mediterráneo, S.A., to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul services for Honeywell RE220 APUs on its fleet of more than 20 Bombardier CRJ900/1000 regional aircraft.

This new agreement, signed in July, serves as an extension of a previous two-year exclusive arrangement established between StandardAero and Air Nostrum in 2013. StandardAero is an OEM-approved RE220 APU Authorized Repair Facility and Air Nostrum’s RE220 APUs will be serviced at StandardAero’s Maryville, Tennessee facility.

Air Nostrum is an independent regional airline carrier operating more than 71,000 flights carrying 3.7 million passengers annually. Air Nostrum is one of the largest European regional airlines and also one of the largest CRJ operators in Europe. Air Nostrum services an extensive network of nearly 100 domestic and international routes to more than 50 airports, as well as charter flights.

As part of the agreement, StandardAero will also provide Air Nostrum with additional benefits including: OEM technical support and documentation, full OEM warranty processing, full access to rental bank assets, component repair & LRU capabilities and coordinated repair development with OEM authorization.
