Tempe, Ariz. – February 6, 2013 – StandardAero announced that it has signed a service center agreement with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics to perform Quick Engine Change (QEC) Assemblies on the Lockheed Martin C-130 Hercules (C-130B – H models). The work will be performed in Canada at StandardAero’s Winnipeg, Manitoba operation.
“Today’s announcement is a testament to StandardAero’s quality, capability and global reputation as an engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider and underscores the confidence Lockheed Martin Aeronautics has in us,” said Harinder Grewal, Senior Vice President, Government & Military, StandardAero. “This agreement builds on our current status as the largest Rolls-Royce T56/501D Authorized Maintenance Center in the world and establishes StandardAero as one of a few select Companies with the capability and authorization to perform maintenance on the complete C-130 Propulsion system.”
