StandardAero Sets New Standard in MRO Cost Savings for TFE731 with Fastlane™; Turn Times Cut by Half

Geneva, Switzerland – May 3, 2010 – StandardAero, a Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) company does more TFE731 heavy maintenance work than anyone else in the world; now they are doing it faster too. Average industry turnaround times for TFE731 Core Zone Inspection (CZI) overhauls are 28 days. With StandardAero’s, Fastlane™ program, turn time on CZIs and Major Periodic Inspections (MPIs) are averaging 14 days and six days, respectively. This nearly two-fold reduction in turn time puts customers back in the air roughly 50 percent faster, reducing down time and increasing aircraft productivity; saving customers money.

“As a full service, tip-to-tail provider, StandardAero customers can complete CZIs for its customers in conjunction with an airframe inspection without requiring a return visit, resulting in less maintenance downtime and substantial costs savings,” said Scott Taylor, senior vice president, Business Aviation for StandardAero. He added: “Our vision for Business Aviation is to ensure a world class ‘total customer experience and aircraft solutions’ delivering a level of customer satisfaction second-to-none and serving as the industry benchmark for comprehensive service and quality. Our Fastlane™ program gets customers flying again with minimal downtime, reduced costs and maximum asset utilization. This ability provides customers with a favorable, quality-driven customer experience.”

In addition to its TFE731 work, StandardAero is also a volume leader in CF34, AE3007 and PT6 heavy maintenance. For more information on StandardAero’s industry-leading TFE731 turnaround times, go to, www.tfe731fastlane.com.
