The trend to install upgrades at the time of the aircraft changing hands is also increasing – most specifically with cabin WI-FI installations, interior refurbishing, avionics and paint. A typical pre-purchase inspection takes an average of 10 days and includes a thorough evaluation of the aircraft for general condition, fuel leaks, systems operational checks and a records review.
