Orlando, Fla. – October 30, 2012 – StandardAero Business Aviation announced today the execution of a lease agreement with BaseNet LLC, marking the return of StandardAero to the Van Nuys airport (VNY), in Van Nuys, California.
StandardAero’s reestablished business aviation MRO support operation at VNY follows over a decade-long absence from the location. The new StandardAero Van Nuys facility will provide maintenance support for a variety of corporate and fractional operators at the airport.
StandardAero’s return to Van Nuys reflects the continued growth StandardAero has experienced over the last three years as the business aviation market continues its sustained recovery. This latest move is being undertaken to provide enhanced support to operators in the greater Los Angeles basin.
