Tempe, Ariz. – August 11, 2014 – StandardAero has launched an industry-leading program for European operators of Honeywell TFE731 powered business jets. The program features a 14-day guaranteed turn around time for TFE731 Major Periodic Inspections (MPIs) — including test cell run and door-to-door shipping for operators located in Europe.
StandardAero is the market leader in TFE731 MRO and has amassed experience performing more than 17,000 TFE731 engine MPIs and CZIs over the last 28 years. StandardAero’s faster turn around time gives operators more assurance reducing aircraft downtime and reducing engine rental expenses.
“We will provide this European program with the same best-in-class quality, precision and service that customers have come to expect from us,” said Marc McGowan, President of StandardAero Business Aviation. “There are nearly 11,000 TFE731 engines in service today and we fully intend to remain the clear market leader by providing high value, innovative approaches for serving our customers.”
In order to participate in the new program, engine log books need to be in StandardAero’s possession at least one week prior to shipping the engine. The 14-day guarantee is subject to prior confirmation of Honeywell parts availability. During the quotation process, the turn around time and guarantee will be contracted. If StandardAero is unable to deliver per the agreement or exceeds on the guaranteed turn around time, the company will pay a daily penalty fee for engine delays. In addition to the penalty clause, StandardAero will provide operators with free of charge shipping priority upgrades.
“This program is a real advantage for our operators in Europe and we look forward to delivering on our promises,” McGowan added.
