StandardAero Establishes New Business Aviation Mobile Service Teams at Nashville International Airport (BNA) and Morristown Municipal Airport (MMU)

Orlando, Fla. – October 20, 2014 – StandardAero Business Aviation has added two new Mobile Service Teams (MSTs) to deliver remote maintenance services at Nashville, Tennessee International Airport (BNA) and Morristown, New Jersey Municipal Airport (MMU) Airport. With the addition of these two new MSTs, StandardAero now supports 16 teams strategically located at airports across the United States.

Each MST includes a staff of 3-5 certified and OEM trained Airframe & Powerplant technicians, service vehicles and complete tooling to deliver services to operators. All StandardAero MSTs can perform line checks and periodic inspections, engine removal and replacements, DEEC software upgrades and downloads, troubleshooting, LRU removals and replacements, service bulletin compliance, MSP/JSSI enrollment inspections, TFE carbon seal replacement and hot section repair.

The new BNA and MMU teams are both located directly on airport property and have clear and easy access to all flight departments on the respective fields. Like all of StandardAero’s MSTs, BNA and MMU teams have far reaching capabilities to also provide services at adjoining cities and states. Each of the new locations will provide the same service capabilities as all StandardAero MSTs to include 24X7 availability, OEM trained and certified technicians, vehicles, tooling and access to parts through OEM and MRO channels.

“StandardAero Mobile Service Teams are staffed with qualified experts and designed to provide customers with greater flexibility, while reducing costs and downtime,” said Marc McGowan, President of StandardAero Business Aviation. “The teams are equipped to handle engine troubleshooting, minor engine discrepancy work, routine maintenance, engine removals and reinstallations and engine maintenance.”

Earlier this year, StandardAero announced that MST capabilities were added to StandardAero’s Houston Hobby Airport (HOU) location to include rapid response for a wide range of corporate aircraft including troubleshooting and support at the customer’s location on the HOU airfield and surrounding airports. Additional MST capabilities were also added at the company’s Van Nuys, California (VNY) facility.

“Quality workmanship, rapid response and comprehensive services are just a few reasons why customers select StandardAero’s Mobile Services. Our MSTs are in more places and cover more engines and airframe maintenance and repairs than most other MRO providers,” McGowan added.
