StandardAero Delivers 4,000th Rolls-Royce AE3007 Engine

Tempe, Ariz. – June 4, 2012 – StandardAero has delivered its 4,000th Rolls-Royce AE3007 engine since the program’s inception in 1997. The delivery took place at StandardAero’s Maryville, Tenn. facility and was delivered to long-time customer Aerolitoral, S.A. de C.V., a Mexico-based regional airline.

“Four thousand engines is a substantial number and represents a significant milestone in the capabilities of our facility and the confidence that our customers have placed in us over the past 15 years since the program’s inception in 1997,” said Tim Fischer, Vice President & General Manager, StandardAero Maryville. “This achievement was accomplished through the dedication & commitment of our employees; our team understands the importance of results which is exactly what we deliver to our customers.”

StandardAero’s Maryville, Tenn. service center is a 130,000 square foot facility which, in addition to the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of the Rolls-Royce AE3007 engine, performs APU maintenance on the Honeywell 36-Series and RE220 APU and Hamilton Sundstrand APS2300 APU.

The AE3007 engine powers the Embraer ERJ 145 regional jets, the Embraer Legacy 600/650 and the Cessna Citation X Business Jet.
