StandardAero Completes New Test Cell Implementation and Tooling for Operators of T-6, PC-21 and EMB 314 Aircraft

Tempe, Ariz. – August 12, 2013 – StandardAero announced that it has expanded its turboprop engine test capabilities with the implementation of a new test cell, component repair capability, and tooling for operators of the Beechcraft, T-6 Texan II, Pilatus, PC-21 military trainers and the Embraer, EMB 314 Super Tucano.

Over $2.5 million and 5,000 engineering hours were spent in developing the new service capability. The new test cell is fully equipped and presently inducting engines and will support StandardAero’s full turboprop engine overhaul capability. The test cell, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba was certified in July.
