StandardAero Celebrates Second Anniversary of Appointment by Textron Aviation as a Chosen Supplier of PT6A Engine Maintenance

Scottsdale, Ariz. – May 30, 2018 – StandardAero, the world’s largest independent Pratt & Whitney Canada authorized PT6A Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) with distribution rights on certain engine models, is this year celebrating its second anniversary as a chosen supplier of PT6A engine maintenance to one of the industry’s best known business aircraft manufacturers, Textron Aviation.

In February 2016, StandardAero announced its selection as a chosen maintenance provider for PT6A turboprop engines in support of Textron Aviation’s PowerAdvantage program, offered for the Beechcraft King Air and Cessna Caravan. Part of Textron Aviation’s ProAdvantage suite of support programs, PowerAdvantage provides owners and operators with predictable PT6A costs for both routine and unscheduled engine maintenance events. Engine models covered under the per-per-hour program include the PT6A-21, -41, -42, -60A, -114A and -135A.

StandardAero supports the global PT6A operator community from five Designated Overhaul Facilities located in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia, backed up by a global network of service centers and mobile repair technicians. With more than 25 years of reliable turboprop experience, StandardAero provides operators with a truly nose-to-tail suite of services, including repair schemes, re-engining STCs, engine exchanges, rentals and Engine Condition Trend Monitoring (ECTM) analysis.

“We greatly value the trust placed in us by Textron Aviation, one of the industry’s leading business turboprop manufacturers,” said Peter Turner, President of StandardAero’s Airline & Fleets business unit.

“As an authorized Designated Overhaul Facility, we are committed to raising the standard for PT6A customers worldwide, supporting King Air, Caravan and other bizprop operators with local support globally through our worldwide network of service locations.”
