StandardAero Awarded Prime Contractor Position on Design and Engineering Support Program III Contract

Tempe, Ariz. – February 13, 2012 – StandardAero announced today that it has been awarded a prime contractor position on the United States Air Force’s (USAF’s) Design and Engineering Support Program III (DESP III) contract, capping off the three year competition. With the award, StandardAero becomes one of a select group of contractors eligible to compete on engineering service task orders at Hill Air Force Base (AFB) and across the USAF.

The award is a five year contract with a seven year total period of performance. The majority of the work will be conducted at Hill AFB, Ogden, Utah with task orders also anticipated from USAF depots at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma and Warner Robins AFB in Georgia.

Competitors were evaluated on technical capability, past performance and total evaluated price. This is StandardAero’s first USAF Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Prime contract. In 2010, StandardAero was awarded a prime position on the Navy’s SeaPort-e IDIQ contract.
