StandardAero Awarded Contract to Perform U.S. Army Auxiliary Power Unit Inspections

Maryville, Tenn., October 22, 2008 – StandardAero has been selected by Letterkenny Army Depot to provide 500 hour inspections on the GTCP36-50H Auxiliary Power Units (APUs). The total contract award is estimated to be $3.3 million over five years.

StandardAero has serviced Honeywell GTCP36 and 85 series APUs since 1997 at its facility in Maryville, Tenn. Since the inception of the APU program, StandardAero has delivered over 4,000 APUs and is now a leading provider of Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul services for the GTCP36 series APUs to regional airlines in North America and Europe.

Since 2005, StandardAero has been the depot provider for the Army’s GTCP36-50H APUs.
