StandardAero Announces Melissa Maddox as Vice President, Operations for Business Aviation

Tempe, Ariz. – March 2, 2010 – StandardAero announced today that it has appointed Melissa Maddox to the position of Vice President, Operations for the company’s Business Aviation sector. Maddox also currently serves the corporate-wide role of Vice President, Global Security & Risk Assurance, a position she will maintain in addition to today’s announcement.

“Melissa has a great financial background and a good understanding of our operations having spent 11 years in our Augusta, Ga. facility. She has been deeply involved in the analysis of our business which provides her a strong foundation from which to support the execution of our recently completed strategic plan,” said Scott Taylor, Senior Vice President, Business Aviation for StandardAero.

In her new role, Maddox will partner with the Business Aviation leadership team to drive operational excellence and help lead several key initiatives to move the sector forward in 2010 and beyond.

Maddox has held a variety of roles in the company during her 14-year tenure, most recently Vice President, Global Security & Risk Assurance for the company, and previously as Finance Director in the sector. She earned her master of business administration degree from Augusta State University and her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of South Carolina.
