Orlando, Fla. – October 30, 2012 – StandardAero Business Aviation today announced that it has entered into a Letter Of Intent (LOI) agreement with Embraer to become an Authorized Service Center (ASC) on Embraer’s Legacy 450 and Legacy 500 aircraft. StandardAero Business Aviation currently holds ASC status on the Embraer Legacy 600/650 series aircraft.

“Given our MRO capabilities on Honeywell’s HTF7000 series engines and our platform focus, today’s announcement not only advances our CompleteCare™ strategy, but also serves as a major milestone in our continued focus on platforms we believe will be successful in the marketplace.,” said Scott Taylor, Senior Vice President, Business Aviation, StandardAero. “We have been an ASC for Embraer’s L600/650 series since early 2006; we believe today’s announcement underscores the quality of our work on the L600/650 and is a testimonial to their confidence in us to effectively fulfill their service requirements on the L450/500 models. We have a broad and strong relationship with Embraer and believe their newest aircraft will be winners in the market.”
