SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – December 3, 2020 – StandardAero recently completed its 21,000th Honeywell TFE731 engine overhaul and announced this milestone during today’s inaugural VBACE event. The achievement continues to reinforce the company’s global leadership in servicing this ubiquitous business aviation turbofan engine.
In addition, StandardAero announced that since authorized by Honeywell as the only major maintenance provider for repair and overhaul services for HTF7000 engines in 2016, the company has completed more than 650 HTF7000 engine overhauls of which more than 100 were accomplished in 2020. The HTF7000 family of turbofan engines power Bombardier Challenger 300/350, Embraer Legacy 450/500, Gulfstream G280 and Cessna Citation Longitude business jets.

At VBACE, StandardAero also announced a significant increase in use of its MySA customer portal. With more than 1,400 active users, the portal is nearing 100,000 virtually managed customer squawks and has added functionality to manage engine/aircraft events remotely, quoting capabilities, pre-buy inspections and ability to buy, sell and consign engines.
“Due to the COVID-19 situation, the Portal has become a more safe and efficient method for remotely communicating and staying in contact with our customers. In fact, we’ve seen over 500% growth in customer use during this year,” Brancato added.
Despite the current challenges with the global pandemic, the company has also seen strong growth in its PW300 engine MRO and has expanded its Engine Trading Solutions capabilities during the year. Demand has also been strong for cabin connectivity solutions and for StandardAero’s airframe and avionics modifications and upgrades, which have experienced a steady flow of business during the year.
