StandardAero and Associated Air Center Highlight Capabilities and New Authorizations at EBACE 2009

Geneva, Switzerland – May 11, 2009 – Touting enhanced tip-to-tail maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities, StandardAero and Associated Air Center come to this year’s European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) show in Geneva, Switzerland, with an extensive menu of business aviation MRO and completion capabilities. The company will also highlight new leadership at Associated Air Center, and detail its safety management systems as well as environmental initiatives.

“The past year has been a very busy one indeed,” said StandardAero President and CEO, Rob Mionis. He added: “Following last year’s EBACE, we broke ground on a $20 million expansion at our Winnipeg, Canada facility, an engine shop redesign at Los Angeles, a new PW600 test cell in Maryville, Tenn. and new cabinet fabrication and upholstery shops at Associated Air Center in Dallas, Tex. to name a few. These investments highlight our continued efforts to provide an extensive array of MRO products and services with customer service second to none.”

Underscoring its growing presence throughout the European market, StandardAero recently signed Aero Management Inc as its new representative for regional airlines and business aviation in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and has signed an engine service center agreement with Cessna to support the Cessna Mustang and Citation X.

“For nearly 100 years, StandardAero has been recognized as a leader in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of business aviation aircraft and as a Tier 1 transport-category completion center,” said Jack Lawless, Chief Operating Officer, Standard Aero and President, Associated Air Center. “We want to offer the benefits of our services and experience by leveraging our turnkey maintenance and service capabilities to business aircraft operators and maintenance directors throughout Europe.”
