Rick Stine Named Senior Vice President of Newly Formed StandardAero Components Sector

Tempe, Ariz. – February 14, 2011 – StandardAero announced today it has named Rick Stine Senior Vice President of its Components Sector in Cincinnati, Ohio. Components is a newly established sector with the company’s array of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services in six key industry sectors consisting of Airlines & Fleets, Associated Air Center, Business Aviation, Government & Military, Helicopters and Energy, and with today’s announcement, Components.

Stine comes to StandardAero from HEICO Corporation where he was Senior Vice President, Technical Operations. In this role, Stine was responsible for the technical operations of the aerospace companies within HEICO Aerospace.

Prior to HEICO, Stine spent 12 years at General Electric Aircraft Engines where he served in increasingly responsible roles, including team leader and design engineer for advanced exhaust systems and hot section components for the Advanced Tactical Fighter demonstrator program as well as civil aviation programs. While at GE, he led a NASA industry team consisting of members from Pratt and Whitney, Boeing, NASA, and GE Aircraft Engines.

Stine holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Youngstown State University, a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Science in Management from Purdue University.

StandardAero purchased TSS Aviation, its Cincinnati, Ohio, Components business, in 2007.
