Winnipeg, Canada – Aug. 4, 2008 – StandardAero has appointed Mike R. Turner as an Avionics Sales Manager supporting the domestic and international sales teams based in Tucson, Ariz. In his position, Mike will be responsible for overseeing the continued growth of avionics opportunities for StandardAero and its customers, both in sales and customer relations.
Turner comes to StandardAero from Bombardier where he served 28 years. He has held a multitude of roles starting as an Avionics Technician with increasing responsibility to his most recent position as Regional Avionics Sales Manager. Prior to that, Mike served in the U.S. Air Force as a Navigation System Specialist obtaining the rank of E-4 (Sergeant).
Mike brings a wealth of product line knowledge on the Global Express and Challenger product line. His primary focus will be avionics sales and support for our business aviation operations.
