Mike Glover Appointed Vice President, Global CFM56 Sales for StandardAero Airlines & Fleets

Tempe, Ariz. – April 8, 2014 – Mike Glover has been appointed Vice President, Global CFM56 Sales, for StandardAero’s Airlines & Fleets business unit. Mike will be located in Atlanta, Georgia.

Prior to joining StandardAero, Glover spent more than two decades working in the aviation and airline industries. Glover came to the company from Innovative Solutions & Support and prior to that, worked for Avidyne Corporation and Delta Air Lines. He began his aviation career as an Aircraft Mechanic at Delta Airlines and served in a broad array of both technical and leadership at Delta including Technical Operations, Flight Operations, Properties & Facilities, Data Link Services and Avionics.

“In his new role as VP of Global CFM56 Sales, Mike will lead StandardAero’s comprehensive CFM56 go-to-market strategy including customer acquisition and long-term service partnerships,” said Rob Higby, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for StandardAero Airlines & Fleets. “The CFM56 engine is a critical focus area for our company and we are pleased to have an aviation professional of Mike’s caliber at the lead for this important and growing segment of our business.”

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management and an associate’s degree in Aviation Technologies from Southern Illinois University. A lifelong aviation enthusiast, Glover also holds an FAA Multi-Engine pilot certificate as well as an Airframe & Powerplant certificate.
