Landmark Aviation’s Associated Air Center establishes itself as world’s leader in Airbus corporate jet completions

Tempe, Arizona, — Associated Air Center (AAC), a Landmark Aviation company, “has established itself as the world’s number one completion center for the Airbus Corporate Jet (ACJ),” said AAC President, Jeff Bosque in announcing that the Dallas Love Field facility had signed an agreement to complete its tenth ACJ. The aircraft will be completed for a customer based in Asia.

AAC currently has several Airbus ACJ aircraft in completion, including one for the UB Group of India, parent company of Kingfisher Airlines, and one for exclusive VIP charter operator Comlux of Switzerland. AAC became an Airbus ACJ Authorized Completions Center in 2003.

“We’ve re-delivered four Airbus ACJ family airplanes to customers, and have six others in process,” Bosque added. “Our extensive experience and expertise in the design, engineering and installation of ‘VVIP’ interiors has contributed to the volume of projects we now have in process. It’s a tribute to both our design and technical staff that we’ve been selected by customers worldwide for these extremely complex and sensitive assignments more than any other completion site.”

Dr. Vijay Mallya, Chairman of the UB Group, which is the parent company of Kingfisher Airlines, said, “The key element I look for in a completed aircraft is quality – it’s essential in every aspect of an aircraft interior.” The UB Group’s ACJ aircraft is now being completed at Associated Air Center.

“The overall interior design, woodwork quality and finish, fabric and cabinetry set Associated Air Center far apart as a world class aircraft completion center,” Dr. Mallya said.

Associated Air Center is also an approved Airbus Corporate Jet Service Center and in 2005 it successfully completed the first five-year C-check for a head of state ACJ.

Associated Air Center offers a full range of design and luxurious completion options for transport class aircraft. AAC professionals work with customers from original concept through the design of the floor plan to selection of fabric, furniture and fixture fabrication, and the integration of cabin and cockpit systems including audio/visual equipment, business computers, facsimile machines, voice scramblers and security components.
