Landmark Aviation Offers Services for Pratt & Whitney PW300 and PW500 Series Engines

NBAA, Orlando, Landmark Aviation announced today that it has signed an agreement with Pratt & Whitney Engine Services Inc. (PWES) under which Landmark’s network of business aviation service locations will offer a full range of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for Pratt & Whitney Canada’s PW300 and PW500 series engines, as well as PT6A and JT15D series engines.

Under the agreement, PWES will perform repair and overhaul maintenance for Landmark and its customers.

The contract was inked during ceremonies at the 58th Annual Meeting & Convention of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) in Orlando.

“This is a ‘win-win-win’ situation for Landmark, Pratt & Whitney and all of our customers who operate aircraft powered by PW300 and PW500 series engines,” said Roger Wolfe, Landmark’s Chief Executive Officer. “It strengthens the relationship between Landmark and Pratt & Whitney, by substantially increasing the number of convenient service locations across the country from which operators can choose, and expands the range of support and number of aircraft types our sites can accommodate.”

The contract will allow Landmark facilities to offer their customers everything from line services to removals and replacements to hot section inspections to complete overhauls performed by PWES on PW300 and PW500 series turbofans.

The PW500 is an advanced, high by-pass ratio turbofan engine in the 3,000 lbs to 4,500 lbs thrust range that offers a common core concept for a wide range of aircraft requirements. The PW300 offers a series of advanced, high by-pass ratio turbofan engines, in the 4,500 lbs to 8,000 lbs thrust range, designed for clean, quiet and low cost of operation.
