Tempe, Arizona, — Landmark Aviation today named Bob Candler as Vice President and General Manager of its Springfield, Ill., maintenance, repair and overhaul operation, responsible for the overall management of the business and working closely with customers on a full range of aircraft modifications and services.

Candler previously worked at Bombardier Business Aircraft as Director of Operations for the company’s Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Denver service centers. He also held sales and customer support management positions at the company. Prior to that, Candler worked for CTS Aviation Services in Seattle and in corporate flight departments. He holds airframe and powerplant licenses and is a former U.S. Marine.
Landmark’s Springfield operation, in addition to providing FBO services, is a full service aircraft center, providing full retrofits and line maintenance for aircraft engines, aircraft paint in a state-of-the-art, multi-bay facility, complete modifications on all business aircraft, and all avionic system modifications and upgrades.
