Ken Aso Appointed Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Customer Development

Tempe, Ariz. – February 28, 2013 – StandardAero announced today it has appointed Ken Aso as Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Customer Development. In this role Aso will be responsible for developing sustainable, long-term global strategic planning for the business, creating innovative approaches to growing existing products and services, and driving enterprise-wide customer support and sales support operational excellence.

“Ken’s proven skills — from the establishment of growth strategies to maintaining large product portfolios and strong financial modeling skills — will be immediately applied in his new role,” said Rob Mionis, President & CEO, StandardAero. “In addition, Ken is an expert in strategy and planning processes, mergers and acquisitions, MRO and asset management. He also has extensive international experience, having previously led projects in 17 countries across five continents.”

Immediately preceding his leadership position at StandardAero, Aso served as a partner at Oliver Wyman, a global management and strategy consulting firm. Prior to Oliver Wyman, Aso worked at Boston Scientific Corporation, Bain & Company and Qwest Communications in a variety of increasingly responsible product management and leadership positions. Aso holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Walla Walla University.
