StandardAero, a Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) company, announced today that Jeroen Schouten has joined StandardAero’s Business Aviation sales team as Regional Sales Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Schouten will be based at StandardAero’s European Service Center in Tilburg, The Netherlands.
”Jeroen’s breadth of experience in aircraft maintenance and sales management provides StandardAero with the ideal skills mix necessary for leading our maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) business throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa,” said StandardAero’s International Sales Director for Business Aviation, Michel Popelier. “Operating out of our Tilburg facility provides us with excellent proximity for growing our EMEA business.”
Prior to joining StandardAero, Schouten was Director of Sales at MTU Maintenance in Hannover, Germany for V2500, CF6-50, CF6-80C2 and CFM56-3 /-5 /-7 aircraft engines in Europe and Africa. Schouten also brings to StandardAero eight years of experience as a sales manager selling aircraft component repair and overhaul services, and new manufacture aircraft interior, as well as structural components engineering and design services at Nordam in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Schouten holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from INHolland University in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
