Tempe, Ariz. – May 14, 2014 – StandardAero announced that James Colleary has been appointed President of Associated Air Center (AAC), the company’s Large Transport Category VIP completion center located in Dallas, Texas. Colleary previously served as the Chief Operating Officer for AAC. He replaces Jack Lawless, who recently left the company to pursue other interests.
Colleary joined StandardAero in 2005 as Vice President, Supply Chain. Prior to that, he worked for Honeywell Aerospace as Director, Commercial APU product line. In addition, he spent 15 years at GE Aircraft Engines Services in a variety of increasingly responsible roles including Vice President of Component Repair.

Colleary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Management from Wright State University and an MBA from University of Phoenix. He is also Green Belt certified, holds a Black Belt leadership certification and is Shingijutsu certified in Lean Applications.
