George Trivino Joins StandardAero Business Aviation as Regional Sales Manager for Latin America

Tempe, Ariz. – October 28, 2010 – StandardAero, announced today that George Trivino has joined StandardAero’s Business Aviation sales team as Regional Sales Manager for Latin America. Trivino will be based in Dacula, Ga.

Trivino will be responsible for the sales of StandardAero’s business aviation products and services throughout South America; namely engine maintenance repair and overhaul of the TPE331, TFE731, CFE738 and auxiliary power units (APUs) as well as airframe and paint services and Avionics.

“George is well-positioned to support the Latin American market where, as a Honeywell field service representative, he supported Latin America, the Caribbean, Santiago, Chile, Bogota, Columbia and Buenos Aires,” said Scott Taylor, senior vice president, Business Aviation, StandardAero. “He knows the market and the products we service very well and is a key addition to the team as we strategically grow our presence in Central and South America.”

Trivino comes to StandardAero from Honeywell where he served as a Field Service Engineer with extensive knowledge and experience on Honeywell engines, including the TPE331, TFE731, ATF3, HTF7000, and APUs. In his duties at Honeywell, Trivino supported business and general aviation in addition to military operators. Prior to Honeywell, Trivino served the Colombian Air Force as an airframe and jet engine mechanic.

Trivino is a licensed A&P and helicopter mechanic. He has his private pilot’s license and maintains a host of engine certifications on a broad array of engines, airframes and aviation systems from Honeywell, Bombardier and Garrett Turbine Engine Company.
