LEAP-1A & LEAP-1B

Now Inducting Engines for QTSV and PRSV!

In March 2023, StandardAero signed a CFM Branded Service Agreement (CBSA) to support the CFM International LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines, becoming the latest member of CFM’s authorized maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) network for the LEAP family. Under this agreement StandardAero has introduced a full range of engine MRO services for Airbus A319/320/321neo and Boeing 737 MAX operators worldwide.

StandardAero is the first MRO provider in North America to sign a CBSA for both the LEAP-1A and the LEAP-1B, becoming one of CFM International’s ‘Premier MRO’ providers for the engine, and is also the first independent North American MRO provider to join the LEAP MRO network under a CBSA agreement. StandardAero is already a well-known and trusted provider of engine MRO services to CFM operators worldwide, having supported the CFM56-7B powerplant since 2009.

In March 2024, our 810,000 sq. ft. San Antonio facility began accepting inductions for LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B Quick Time Shop Visits (QTSVs), also known as Continued Time Engine Maintenance (CTEM) workscopes, including high-pressure turbine (HPT) shroud replacements. Our LEAP team introduced functional and performance engine testing for the LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B in mid-2024, and we are now inducting Performance Restoration Shop Visits (PRSVs).

As an independent MRO provider licensed by CFM International, you can be assured that your engines will be in the right hands: our repair and technical licenses from CFM will allow us to deliver comprehensive material and technological support benefits to our customers, while as an independent MRO provider we will be able to perform customized workscopes, giving you the flexibility to proactively manage your operations.
