In March 2023, StandardAero signed a CFM Branded Service Agreement (CBSA) to support the CFM International LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines, becoming the latest member of CFM’s authorized maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) network for the LEAP family. Under this agreement StandardAero has introduced a full range of engine MRO services for Airbus A319/320/321neo and Boeing 737 MAX operators worldwide.
StandardAero is the first MRO provider in the Americas to sign a CBSA for both the LEAP-1A and the LEAP-1B, becoming a CFM LEAP Premier MRO provider, and is also the first independent Premier MRO Provider in the Americas. StandardAero is already a well-known and trusted provider of engine MRO services to CFM operators worldwide, having supported the CFM56-7B powerplant since 2009.
In March 2024, our 810,000 sq. ft. San Antonio facility began accepting inductions for LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B Quick Turn Shop Visits (QTSVs), also known as Continued Time Engine Maintenance (CTEM) workscopes, including high-pressure turbine (HPT) shroud replacements. Our LEAP team introduced functional and performance engine testing for the LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B in mid-2024, enabling us to commence inducting LEAP Performance Restoration Shop Visits (PRSVs), and we redelivered our first PRSV engine in late 2025.
StandardAero also offers customers a range of supporting LEAP capabilities, including extensive in-house component repair solutions, plus short-term LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engine leases in order to help operators avoid unwanted aircraft downtime and maximize asset utilization during MRO events. We also offer LEAP engine health monitoring (EHM) data analysis services, helping operators avoid unscheduled aircraft downtime.
In recognition of the importance of leasing companies as customers for the LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engine platforms, StandardAero also offers a dedicated LeaseTEAMTM suite of services tailored to meet the needs of lessors and their lessees. These services allow lessors and their customers to minimize maintenance costs and maximiMze operational availability, while protecting asset values.
As an independent LEAP Premier MRO Provider licensed by CFM International, you can be assured that your engines are in the right hands: our repair and technical licenses from CFM allow us to deliver comprehensive material and technological support benefits to our customers, while as an independent MRO provider we are able to perform customized workscopes, giving you the flexibility to proactively manage your operations.
