ORLANDO, Florida – October 16, 2018 – Dallas Airmotive has announced that the facility operations consolidation project that brought 4 locations together into a single facility at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport is complete. After opening the new 220,000 sq ft engine maintenance and testing facility in 2016, the organization has seen business growth resulting in the need to increase the company’s employee base at the DFW Center location.
“In the last couple of years, our team has been dedicated to building operations at DFW Center with close regard for continuing to meet customer expectations,” Mark Stubbs, Chief Commercial Officer of Global Engine Services said. “We’re thrilled to see growth in the business at the close of the consolidation.”
Dallas Airmotive’s flagship location at DFW Airport is home to over 400 employees. The company plans to grow that number to support the aftermarket engine repair and overhaul services they provide to thousands of aircraft owners and operators around the world.
“Our goal as an independent, OEM-approved engine MRO service provider is to give operators an alternative for their aftermarket engine support,” Stubbs said. “It’s crucial to our success that we listen to our customers’ needs and aim to deliver to their requirements and I think we’re seeing the achievement of success reflected in our growth after the establishment of DFW Center.”
Further, Stubbs said that with growth comes a new challenge, specifically associated to staffing for necessary operations.
“We need new team members ready to serve the company’s mission to exceed customer expectations,” Stubbs said. “The aviation industry is changing rapidly and how we delivered our services a decade ago isn’t the same now and it won’t be the same in another 10 years. We want to build our team with quality individuals that are focused on the future and will be the people to get us there.” To find out how to join the Dallas Airmotive team, visit them at NBAA in Orlando, FL at BBA Aviation booth #1600 and talk to a Human Resources Representative at the show.
