Associated Air Center Recognized for Environmental Excellence Among National, State and Local Agencies – Receives Multiple Awards in 2013

Las Vegas, Nev. – October 22, 2013 – 2013 was a benchmark year for Associated Air Center’s environmental performance, receiving multiple awards from national, state and local environmental agencies. Most recently the company won the National Pollution Prevention Roundtable’s (NPPR) Most Valuable Pollution Prevention (MVP2) Award for efforts in reducing and eliminating hexavalent chromium from its processes. Jack Lawless, CEO, Associated Air Center accepted the prestigious award at the NPPR’s awards ceremony held on September 18 in Washington D.C.

In May of this year, AAC won the Texas Environmental Excellence Award (TEEA) for the same project and on November 4, as part of the annual Blue Thumb Awards, the City of Dallas will recognize AAC for their excellence in complying with the city’s wastewater discharge and reporting requirements. In one year, AAC will be recognized for its environmental initiatives at the local, state, and national levels.
