Associated Air Center Expanding Footprint as Wide-body Completion Center 747 and A330 Aircraft Completions Currently Underway Today

Las Vegas, Nev. – October 22, 2013 – Associated Air Center, StandardAero’s Large Transport Category VIP completions center in Dallas, Texas continues to expand its wide-body capabilities, fulfilling existing completion projects while actively bidding on several new proposals.

“Our current volume and progress on the two large and very complex A330 and 747 interior completions underway today, demonstrates our commitment to this target market and reflects our growing credibility within the industry to effectively manage and execute projects of this magnitude,” said Jack Lawless, Chief Executive Officer, Associated Air Center. “And with our facility expansion improvements and investments, we’re positioning ourselves for wide-body growth and aggressively bidding new projects to fill our hangars for 2014 and beyond.”

Last year, Associated Air Center announced two milestone wide-body awards with the A330 and green 747-8 VIP. As a result of the wins and in preparation for future anticipated wide-body projects, AAC has invested several million dollars in facility improvements including hangar expansions, tooling and training for existing wide-body aircraft and to support future Boeing 777 and 787 structural requirements for new aircraft entering the VIP completions market.

AAC provides world-class program management and ODA certification authority to keep airplane programs on schedule and provides industry-leading experience and warranty support after delivery. The company’s vertically-integrated, state of the art facility employs the most advanced engineering in the industry along with operational excellence and superior customer service from start to finish.
