Associated Air Center Delivers First VVIP BBJ to Operate in China

Dallas, Texas – February 15, 2012 – StandardAero’s Associated Air Center (AAC) received its Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) authorizing the company to perform VVIP interior aircraft work on Boeing Business Jets by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and subsequently, the company was able to deliver the first Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) that will operate in China.

Deer Jet, a Chinese airline and aviation company, took delivery of the aircraft and flew from Dallas to Beijing on January 18. This VVIP custom completion aircraft was AAC’s first completion project for a Chinese customer.
