November 11, 2006 – ACROHELIPRO Global Services Inc., a subsidiary of Vector Aerospace Corporation, recently entered into an agreement with Intelligent Automation Corporation (IAC) to develop a fully FAA certified Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) for the Sikorsky S-76 aircraft.
The system under development is based on the proven IAC 1209-Modern Signal Processing Unit (MSPU) Health & Usage Management Systems (HUMS) currently in use with Bell Helicopter and the U.S. Army. It offers S-76 operators a high performance, lightweight, reliable and low cost system that provides a 10% increase in operational readiness and availability, as demonstrated by US Army operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.
