StandardAero Component Services Expands Repair Capabilities to Include Eight New Military Engine Platforms

Scottsdale, Ariz. – April 20, 2017 – Working in partnerships with the world’s largest aircraft engine OEMs, StandardAero has expanded repair capabilities for servicing eight new engine platforms with associated component part repair services and authorizations.

StandardAero is now qualified to perform component repairs for the following engines either independently, under subcontract, with teaming agreements or directly contracted with multiple customers/OEMs: F100, F110, F117, F118, F119, TF33, J85 and naval LM2500.

“Expanding our military component repair services is a major focus and a natural, organic extension of our existing capabilities within our facilities in Cincinnati, Miami and Winnipeg,” said Rick Stine, President of StandardAero Components, Helicopters & Accessories. “We look forward to supporting these critical customers and rapidly growing our military repair capabilities.”

In addition to expanding military repairs, the company has also expanded capabilities on several commercial engine platforms, including: PW2000, PW4000 and V2500. Moreover, StandardAero has expanded international capabilities with CAAC authorizations/approvals for repairing PW4000, V2500, GE90, CF34, CFM56 and Honeywell engines.

StandardAero is an OEM aligned component repair provider for all of the various aerospace and industrial gas turbine engine manufacturers and operators around the globe.
