StandardAero Signs 10-Year MRO License Renewal with Rolls-Royce

Tempe, Ariz. – May 6, 2014 – StandardAero recently signed a 10-year license renewal with Rolls-Royce as the sole independent Authorized Maintenance Center (AMC) in North America to perform repair and overhaul services on the following engines (aircraft): AE2100A & AE2100P (Saab 2000), AE2100D2 (Alenia C-27J), AE2100 D3 (Lockheed Martin C-130J), AE2100J (ShinMayawa US-1A) and AE1107 (Bell-Boeing V-22). The license allows StandardAero to continue its tightly OEM-aligned service strategy to support operators around the globe from its Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada facility.

StandardAero has repaired more than 700 AE2100 engines for operators including the United States Air Force, United States Marine Corps, United States Coast Guard, Royal Australian Air Force, Royal Canadian Air Force and almost every other current operator of C-130J, C-27J and V-22 Aircraft.

Standard Aero has served as a Rolls-Royce AE AMC since 1993 and is also a Rolls-Royce T56/501D AMC, building upon over 50 years of T56/501D experience to deliver complete C-130B-J aircraft propulsion support including nacelle and propeller repairs.
