Tempe, Ariz. – February 21, 2013 – Associated Air Center (AAC), StandardAero’s Large Transport Category VIP Completions Center in Dallas, Texas, announced it has re-delivered its 24th Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) since becoming a BBJ Authorized Completion and Service Center in 1998. The completion was for a Far Eastern customer.
“Today’s announcement represents our second BBJ interior completion for this same customer and underscores the confidence that repeat customers put in our ability to deliver on our commitments,” said Chris Schechter, Vice President & General Manager, Associated Air Center. “In addition, having a second BBJ interior certified under the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) reflects the confidence that foreign regulatory agencies put in AAC’s Repair Station and ODA.”
The BBJ aircraft will be operated in world-wide charter (under FAA/CAAC Part 135) equipped and configured with a VVIP interior occupancy greater than 19 passengers for Taxi, Take-Off & Landing (T, T & L). Interior decorative materials, although elegant and durable, will still maintain compliance with the more stringent FAA/CAAC smoke & heat release requirements (65/65).
At 24, AAC leads the industry in BBJ aircraft interior completions.
