StandardAero and JSSI® Alliance Receives High Marks One Year Later

Tempe, Ariz. – June 14, 2010 – One year ago, StandardAero, a Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) company, and Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI®), combined talents to provide JSSI’s clients with the finest in engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services. Twelve months later, the alliance has been deemed a success, having developed numerous beneficial support services, such as enhanced engine performance packages and guaranties, designed to keep engines and APUs on-wing for longer periods of time.

“The JSSI/StandardAero alliance allows JSSI and its clients to take full advantage of StandardAero’s unique ability to service a vast array of engines, APUs and airframes,” said StandardAero’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Rob Mionis. “Our Agreement with JSSI spans no less than 11 engine models, giving JSSI greater buying power, StandardAero stronger volumes and JSSI’s clients lower maintenance costs. Plus, they receive state-of-the-art OEM-authorized MRO services. In addition, every JSSI client receives preferred airframe, avionics, paint and completions terms at one of our four fly-in facilities. This is truly a win-win-win alliance.”

”We are proud of JSSI’s long-standing relationship with StandardAero and are pleased with the success of this alliance,” stated Louis C. Seno, President and CEO of JSSI. “Most importantly, our clients are receiving real benefits through exceptional service and lower maintenance costs.”

The alliance has also produced many other quality customer experiences, such as promoting and applying operational excellence programs, like the TFE731 FastLane™ program for JSSI clients, and StandardAero’s ability to offer special commercial values for airframe services of all kinds. JSSI and StandardAero are also engaged in the technical evaluation of certain JSSI engine fleets in an effort to learn enhanced build procedures and to proactively address problem maintenance and parts issues that may cause operators to have costly unscheduled events.

Currently, StandardAero and JSSI are developing a PT6A offering that will allow existing or future JSSI clients to choose between a PT6A engine overhaul or upgrade to a new, more powerful and efficient engine.

Since the alliance’s inception, StandardAero has completed 110 engine and APU repairs, and currently serves as JSSI’s preferred provider for 11 engine and APU products.
