Atlanta, Ga. – October 18, 2010 – StandardAero announced today that it has renewed its service level agreement with Honeywell to provide maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) support on the CFE738 engine. The term of the renewal agreement is five years and provides operators of Falcon 2000 aircraft the ability to get their mid-point major periodic inspection (MPI) completed by StandardAero, in addition to having all line and light service needs fulfilled. Major events will be performed at StandardAero’s Los Angeles facility, with line capabilities in Springfield, Ill. (SPI).
StandardAero also provides CFE738 MPI and Line support for NetJets, Inc., the largest fleet operator of Falcon 2000’s in the world. Along with their operating affiliates NetJets Europe and Executive Jet Management, they operate or manage 40-plus Falcon 2000 aircraft.
”StandardAero has a long, rich history with Honeywell engines,” said Scott Taylor, senior vice president, Business Aviation, StandardAero. “Renewing our service agreement on the CFE738 places further emphasis on being a full service, total care provider for Falcon operators.”
As authorized service centers for Dassault FalconJet at all of the company’s Business Aviation locations, StandardAero is the only provider of CFE major maintenance for the Falcon 2000, in conjunction with airframe events, interior and paint, winglets installation and avionics upgrades.
