StandardAero Expands Mobile Support Services for Business Aviation Customers in North America

Atlanta, Ga. – Oct. 18, 2010 – StandardAero announced today that it is expanding its customer support network by adding four additional mobile service teams to its existing business aviation support network. StandardAero’s Business Aviation sector now has a total of nine teams across North America. These teams are being added to provide faster response times to customers in emergency situations.

These new Mobile Service Teams (MST) will be located in Little Rock, Ark., Van Nuys, Calif., San Jose, Calif., and Dallas, Texas reducing travel time to over 1,000 business aviation services customers. The expansion of StandardAero’s MST capability is a key component in the company’s customer service growth strategy. In addition to the new MST locations, StandardAero has opened a centralized Mobile Operation Center (MOC), operating 24 hours a day, seven days per week, 365 days per year. The MOC provides 24×7 service through its dedicated Hotline – 1.877.466.7899.

“Our Mobile Service Teams are strategically located to provide customers with greater flexibility, while reducing costs and downtime,” said Joe Brady, director, Mobile Service Teams, StandardAero. “Operators needing scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, at home or away, can simply call one number and a mobile service team member will be immediately dispatched and at the aircraft within 24 hours. There is no need to incur the added costs of moving their aircraft; we’re equipped to troubleshoot both engines and airframes, from minor discrepancies to complete engine removal and replacement on a wide variety of aircraft platforms.”

“Our MSTs are manned by some of the most professional and technically competent technicians in the industry,” said Scott Taylor, senior vice president, Business Aviation, StandardAero. “AOG support comes with no better knowledge and skills than those provided by StandardAero’s MST technicians.”

StandardAero also is augmenting its mobile service network, with the ability to dispatch mobile service teams from its four primary facilities in Augusta, Ga., Houston, Texas, Los Angeles and Springfield, Ill. The MST’s provide complete support for TFE731, CFE738 and HTF7000 engines, as well as Honeywell auxiliary power units (APUs) and airframe maintenance on Falcon, Challenger, Hawker, Embraer, Learjet, Gulfstream and Cessna aircraft.
