Landmark Aviation’s Associated Air Center to complete two BBJs

Tempe, Arizona, — Associated Air Center (AAC), a Landmark Aviation company, has signed agreements to complete two “green” Boeing Business Jets (BBJs) during the coming year. One of the new, specially-configured BBJs will be operated by a private company based in Eastern Europe while the other is owned by a private firm from the Far East.

The European aircraft is slated for delivery in December of 2006, followed by the Far Eastern airplane in March of 2007. They will be the 15th and 16th Boeing Business Jets completed by AAC, which is both a Designated Completion Center and a Factory Authorized Service Center for the BBJ.

“Under the terms of the contracts, we have already begun meeting with representatives of both customers to begin designing the interiors of the aircraft,” noted Jeff Bosque, AAC’s president. We will proceed through the preliminary and critical review stages as efficiently as possible so we can finalize the designs and begin ordering long lead time vendor items and ensure that our ‘in-house’ shops can initiate their engineering and manufacturing efforts in a timely manner,” he added.

Associated Air Center, located in Dallas, Texas, offers a full range of design and luxurious completion options for transport class aircraft. AAC’s experienced staff works with customers from original concept through the design of the floor plan to selection of fabric, furniture and fixture fabrication, and the integration of cabin and cockpit systems. “Both of these aircraft will be configured as ‘VVIP’ transports,” Bosque said.
