TEMPE, Arizona, Garrett / Piedmont Hawthorne / Associated, a business aviation services company, today announced that it has rebranded the company with a name – Landmark Aviation.
“Landmark Aviation is the name we selected to represent our growth-oriented company that provides customers a network of 37 locations throughout North America – facilities that offer the very best service to aircraft owners and operators,” said Roger Wolfe, Chief Executive Officer. “Landmark is the first integrated services provider covering all business aircraft services, from maintenance and repair to sales, charter and management, to an extensive FBO network. Landmark also offers customized completion services for every size business and private aircraft.”
The company formed a year ago when Garrett Aviation Services was combined with Piedmont Hawthorne and Associated Air Center by owner the Carlyle Group, with the objective of creating a full service company to support the life cycle of an aircraft.
Company leaders designated a branding team to integrate the businesses and undertake a corporate identity strategy offering a single source services provider to business aircraft owners and operators.
Relying on the input and recommendations from more than 200 customers during qualitative interviews, the strategy team identified ‘Landmark Aviation’ as the new identity that would be synonymous with world-class customer service and a commitment to reliability and availability throughout an expanding operation network. Landmark’s large aircraft completion center, has been branded “Associated Air Center – A Landmark Company” under the brand architecture while the other businesses are Landmark Aviation.
Shawn Vick, President, Landmark Aviation, said, “As a result of Associated Air Center’s unique capabilities and customer base, we have chosen to maintain its identity.” Currently Landmark offers 37 FBO and maintenance, repair and overhaul facilities in North America, plus a Mobile Service Team network of technicians that will travel to customers’ aircraft at any location. Landmark also provides customized business and private aircraft completions at Associated Air Center in Dallas and at Springfield, Ill. Landmark’s Dallas operation is an Airbus Corporate Jet (ACJ) and Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) authorized completion center. With more than 150 years of combined aviation heritage, Landmark intends to continue to grow its network and capability.
