Jeffrey Wood is Senior Vice President, Airlines and Fleets, responsible for the operational & financial performance of the four business units comprising the Airlines and Fleets Sector. He reports directly to the President and CEO of StandardAero and is a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team.
StandardAero, a 100 year old company, is one of the world’s largest independent providers of services including engine and airframe repair and overhaul, engine component repair, engineering services, interior completions and paint applications. StandardAero serves a diverse array of customers in business and general aviation, airline, military, helicopter, components, energy and VIP completions markets. StandardAero provides a global service network of 13 primary facilities in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Singapore and Australia, plus over 50 sales and field service locations. StandardAero is an entity of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) Ltd, a globally recognized aerospace company specializing in services, aircraft completions and aircraft leasing.
Prior to joining StandardAero, Wood served as Senior Advisor of
Irving Place Capital, where he focused on investment opportunities in the aerospace sector. Prior to that, Wood was President of Airfoil Technologies International (ATI), a global provider of aircraft engine component manufacturing, maintenance, refurbishment and asset management. He also served as Director, Risk Revenue Partnership Programs for Pratt & Whitney Commercial Engines where he managed the key partners’ international supply chains and their program suppliers for the development of new engines. Wood also worked with Dutch aerospace company, Interturbine Group, where he ran global Repair Operations and was instrumental in the company’s sale to Pratt & Whitney. Wood began his career with the General Electric Company.
Wood holds an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business Management as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in International Economics and Spanish from DePauw University. He also attended Universidad de Barcelona and is fluent in Spanish. He is a graduate of the General Electric Financial Management Program and
has served previously on the Board of Governors for the Aerospace Industry Association.
