This P&WCSMART™ Flat Rate Overhaul Program is guaranteed not to exceed a set capped price for optional parts replacement, such as CT blades and LLPs – letting you accurately plan your maintenance costs. Included in this offer:

  • Category 1 – 6 Service Bulletins.
  • No extra charges for typical corrosion, sulphidation, or non-genuine P&WC parts.
  • No extra charges for foreign object damage (FOD) provided it did not cause an unscheduled removal.
  • Labour, new parts, used parts, parts exchanges, sub-contracted charges, bulk, test and packaging.
  • Shop Warranty from a P&WC Service Centre Network or P&WC Designated Overhaul facility.

Options

  • Aircraft tail number is mandatory.
  • Operator must request or purchase the flat rate overhaul pricing prior to or at engine inspection/cost estimate.
  • Engine is a normal time expired core operated in accordance with P&WC’s approved documentation and removed for scheduled reasons and not for a significant basic unscheduled removal.
  • Engine must be complete (missing parts will be charged).
  • If an engine is deemed uneconomical to overhaul, an engine exchange will be offered.

Your Engine Premium Overhaul will have mandatory parts replaced by new, such as:

  • Compressor turbine blades
  • Power turbine blades 2nd stg
  • Aluminum inlet case (replace with new when pre-configuration)
  • All P&WC genuine parts

Applicability*:

  • FRO available to Operators/Owners only, and A/C tail number is mandatory
  • Operator must request / purchase the Engine Premium Overhaul prior to / or at engine inspection/cost estimate
  • Engine is a normal time expired core operated in accordance with P&WC approved documentation and removed for scheduled reasons
  • Engines operated under the published TBO
  • No extra charges for typical corrosion / sulphidation / non-genuine P&WC parts
  • No extra charges for normal repairable FOD (if FOD did not cause removal)
  • Engine must be complete (No missing parts)
  • Engines exceeding the published TBO can perform their OH under this program until December 31st, 2020. After which program will no longer be available when operators are exceeding the published TBO
  • If an engine is deemed uneconomical to overhaul, an engine exchange can be offered
  • Operator must request or purchase the flat rate overhaul pricing prior to or at engine inspection/cost estimate.

You need more cycles…no problem!:

    The Capped price is increased by:
  • $15K for LLPs replacement providing a minimum of 10,000 cycles remaining
  • $25K for LLPs replacement providing a minimum of 12,000 cycles remaining
  • $40K for LLPs replacement providing a minimum of 14,000 cycles remaining
  • $60K for all-new
LLP to be replaced with NEW. However, P&WC keeps the right to limit the cycles remaining of replaced LLPs to match the 6,000 minimum cycles remaining when customers are not purchasing the additional cycles. When engines are considered beyond economical overhaul (BEO), engine may be subject to a BEO fee. The fee will be calculated by StandardAero, and will be capped at $35,000 USD.

LLP usage is based on a basic TBO of 6,000 hours with acycle ration per hour of 1 cycles. Customer can elect to replace the LLP when CT Discs have lessthan 3,000 cycles remaining and other LLP whenthey have less than 6,000 cycles remaining
