Peter Turner was appointed President, Airlines & Fleets in 2017. As the leader of StandardAero’s largest business sector, Turner is responsible for the operational and financial performance of the three business units comprising the Airlines & Fleets Sector. He reports directly to the CEO of StandardAero and is a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team.

Turner has nearly 30 years of experience working in the aerospace and commercial aviation industry. Prior to joining StandardAero, he served as Executive Vice President of Customer Support and Services for Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation. Before that, he worked at Delta TechOps in the role of Vice President, MRO Services and Business Development where he was responsible for all aspects of in-sourcing MRO work. From 1988 to 2012, Turner served in a wide variety of increasingly responsible executive leadership roles for Rolls-Royce and International Aero Engines (a joint venture company originally formulated with Pratt & Whitney, Japanese Aero Engine Corporation and MTU Aero Engines) including Vice President for Customer Business Airlines Americas, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development and Director of Corporate Customer Services and Aftermarket in the U.K, U.S. and Canada.

Turner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Management Science from the University of Kent, United Kingdom.
